These tunes, like Blunderphonics as a whole, is a tribute to John Oswald's Plunderphonics from the 80s and 90s-the Blunder part comes from a band I was in a long time ago, The Blunder Children (taken from the 80s film Tapeheads) and when we broke up, I began using the handle Blunder. I assembled these piecemeal-like from indie rock, punk, metal, rap, jazz, old country, bluegrass and hillbilly hollers, avant garde soundscapes and noise, old electronic sound, and various weird audio pieces I've collected throughout the years. My intention is to create something fun and enjoyable, while paying tribute to an innovator of twentieth-century music and sound. Here's to it. Enjoy!
